MOBILITYVET is a supplement designed for all categories of dogs and cats. It strengthens the ligaments, ensures the normal development of the skeletal system, the regeneration and protection of joints and cartilage. Another purpose of MOBILITYVET is to alleviate the pain caused by the changes occurring due to a decrease of synovial fluid flow. The preventive use of MOBILITYVET is recommended in younger categories of dogs and cats to avoid deformities of the skeletal system, weak joints, and soft tendons.
A large number of components in MOBILITYVET makes it a complex product. During its development, the support of a large number of metabolic processes related to the locomotor system of dogs and cats was taken into account.
Glucosamine – represents an amino saccharide which takes part in creating glycosaminoglycan (GAGs), necessary to restore the cartilage and the joints. Glucosamine improves joint flexibility and allows a tighter connecting between joints. The reduction of inflammatory mediators is another important role of glucosamine. They also accelerated the degradation of cartilage in older dogs.
Chondroitin – stimulates the retention of water and nutrients in the connective tissue, which is very important as cartilage is not nourished by the bloodstream. Increased elasticity of cartilage is one of the important roles of chondroitin and its use is recommended for older dogs and cats. The stimulation of the metabolism by chondrocytes and the synthesis of proteoglycan and collagen (the basic components of new cartilage) is another important role of chondoitin.
Hyaluronic acid – it can be found in the synovial fluid and it has the function of lubricating the joints; furthermore, it is also an essential component of the cartilage matrix. It is a hydrophilic substance (binding water molecules) and it fills up intercellular spaces and gives volume and strength to tissues.
Calcareous Marine Algae, which make up 10% of MOBILITYVET, are an excellent source of easily absorbed minerals, especially sulfur. The main role of sulfur is maintaining joint flexibility and reducing pain caused by an inflammation.
Vitamin E – a natural antioxidant which is used to neutralize harmful radicals released by inflammatory reactions. The positive effect on the growth of chondrocytes is a very important role of this vitamin. The effect on the reduction of pain in dogs and cats with problematic joints is also taken into account in the prevention of problems.
Vitamin C – an essential nutrient required for the biosynthesis of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue). With a high antioxidant capacity, vitamin C affects the protection of cartilage and chondrocytes. Vitamin C deficiency affects the destabilization of collagen.
The Mn, Zn and Cu minerals act catalytically on many biochemical reactions related to the locomotor system. They also serve as building blocks in the construction of connective tissues. Copper, the essential component of lysyl oxidase, supports the production of collagen and elastine in the cartilage and bone tissue. Manganese supports the collagen production.
Due to the presence of omega 3 fatty acids and their composition, MOBILITYVET reduces pain and the inflammatory reactions.
